  Shri. Mangal R.Sonone has won the second prize in University level seminar competition for P.G. students on the topic “Topology” held at Department of Mathematics, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University ,Amravati.

i)                       Dr. Mrs. S. S. Utgikar has presented a paper entitled “Higher Education In The Dawn of 21^st century” in UGC sponsored state level seminar on “Recent Trends In Teaching Basic &Applied Sciences” held at P.N.Mahavidyalaya, Pusad on 3^rd Jan.2009.

                           ii)                   Shri.S.W.Bhaware has presented a paper

11        Activities not covered in the above proforma:

i)          Dr. S. M. Padhye has given guidance and coaching to the students of 11^th and 12^th to prepare for Regional Mathematical Olympiad Examination 2008 organized by Bhaskaracharya Pratishthan, Pune . He also conducted the examination held on 7^th Dec.2008 in Room No.11of this college.

ii)         Ku.Ankita Ashok Sarada ,a student of 11th B has appeared in the merit list of RMO 2008 and got selected for INMO to be held on 18.12.09.

iii)       Ku.M.T.Sarode ,a CHB teacher has passed Vacational M.Phil. in Mathematics of S.G.B.Amravati University.

iv)       Ku. Ashwini Ingle of M.Sc.II of this department in session

2007-08 has been placed in 3^rd merit of Amravati University ,Amravati.
