Innovations/ Contributions in Teaching: a) Teaching Methods:- i) Topics from unit are announced in advance for discussion in the class so that students can refer text books, reference books & keep themselves ready for lectures. ii) Use of lecture method, laboratory method, use of audio visual aids like charts, LCD projector etc. iii) Students are asked to deliver seminar on different topics from syllabus. b) Laboratory Experiments:- Demostration of experiments, dissections etc. c) Preparation of resource materials:- Preparation of Unit wise notes, laboratory manuals, question bank, power point presention. d) Remedial teaching Special guidance to weak students/ poor students. e) Extension activities/ consultancy/ community works: i) Working as a N.S.S. programme Officer and member of N.S.S. advisory committee since dt. 22 / 09 / 2007. ii) Organization of N.S.S. residential camps in the academic years 2007-08, 2008- 09 and 2009-10 iii) Contribution in organization of blood donation camps in the academic years 2007-08, 2008- 09 and 2009-10 iv) Contribution in organization of university level women empowerment workshop in the academic year 2009-10 v) Contribution in organization of university level workshop on Biodiversity (2007-08) and Planet earth (2008-09). vi) Worked as a senior supervisor for M.T.S. examination (2007-08, 2008-09) vii) Worked as a examiner for34th Akola taluka level science exhibition during Nov25- 26, 2008. .
